'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the first significant honor of his distinguished career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely contemplate extending his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
